Problem Note 52341: "Error: Connection string, DSN or file DSN syntax or usage error" might occur when you try to publish formats to Teradata

Running the %INDTD_PUBLISH_FORMATS macro to publish formats to Teradata might result in errors. Errors similar to the following might be written to the BTEQOUTPUT.LOG file:

ERROR: Connection string, DSN or file DSN syntax or usage error
ERROR: Parsing failed at or near column 99: Columns 83-114 = "o_sastrgrp_dbUID=stomog;PWD={SAS"

This error occurs when the Teradata database name is 29 or 30 characters long. There is currently no workaround for this issue.
